LSS Academy offers successful Lean Six Sigma training, certification and consultancy Programmes by
CC Tham (Lead) and Dr. A. Aruleswaran, the author of Changing with Lean Six Sigma. We aim to improve
the competitive position of its customers, to adopt continuous improvement and drive towards maximised
returns to the share-holders by promoting the implementation of Business Process improvement

Methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma whilst equipping the participants with a range of quality
management tools and soft skills. This Academy is a dynamic company founded by individuals that were
actively involved in a wide range of continuous improvement, and management consultancy projects
locally and internationally.
One of the keys to a successful Six Sigma
deployment is Green Belts and Black Belts who
are well trained and equipped to overcome any
barriers in executive projects. We provide Green
Belt and Black Belt Training. Green Belt holders
conduct process-level mprovement projects that
do not require the same statistical rigor used by
Black Belts and Master Black Belts. Green Belt
activities serve to support and accelerate strategic
Lean Six Sigma deployment objectives and to
perpetuate them throughout the organization.

The Master Black Belt’s role is to work with the leadership team and make the vision a reality, through
the delivery of business improvement. How these trainings are carried out is our concern and that is
why our course is designed to be dynamic with a combination of theoretical learning via lectures, and
practical understanding through case studies, exercises, games and workshops. The training covers
Project Management, Quality Management tools, Quality control tools, problem solving and descriptive
data analysis. This programme takes candidates through a proven, step-by-step methodology on the
transfer of knowledge and process skills that lead to improved project results and enhanced technical
problem solving skills. The programme is also custom-made according to whether your organization is
in the service or manufacturing sector.

Our Goal is to enable participants to acquire basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and develop capabilities
to implement continuous improvement projects in their organization. These programs focus on how the
technical (Process improvement methodology), Leadership (Ability to achieve through others), Project
Management (Plan it, then deliver it) skills can be targeted and improved upon in its development
program. These programmes are being offered to a wider audience.

Therefore, in healthcare, finance & IT, manufacturing, government, or any other type of service or
product based industry, Lean Six Sigma training is ideal for anyone looking to get the most of their career.
The participants are awarded Certification of Training upon successful attendance of the training
program and upon passing the examination at the final day of the training with grades not less than 75%.
Green Belts usually devote between 10 to 20% of their time to Six Sigma project work whereas Black Belts
work on fulltime basis, which is to continuously scope for improvement projects that provides yield and
returns for the company. These trainings often work on multiple projects during the year. The training
investments and benefits are considered on a program-wide basis rather than a per-class or per-project
basis. The training consists of six to eight days of classroom training and is conducted in conjunction with
Lean Six Sigma projects. In some cases a 10 day course is offered to increase the time allotted
for software training, and change acceleration exercises.
