What is our Green Belt Programme all about?
In the deployment of Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt projects are generally focused on local improvements. Green Belts then become the critical mass in an enterprise-wide change. Green Belt holders conduct process-level improvement projects that do not require the same statistical rigor used by Black Belts and Master Black Belts. Green Belt activities serve to support and accelerate strategic Lean Six Sigma deployment objectives and to perpetuate them throughout the organization. The LSS Academy Green Belt Programme takes candidates through a proven, step-by-step methodology on the transfer of knowledge and process skills that lead to improved project results and enhanced technical problem solving skills. The programme is also custom-made according to whether your organization is in the service or manufacturing sector.
Green Belt for Services is designed to prepare individuals to support process improvement efforts in a transactional or service environment. Key Green Belt capabilities that the programme develops include:
- Communicating a business strategy across the organization
- Integrating with Lean Manufacturing, TOC and other improvement methods
- Applying the DMAIC improvement process
- Selecting successful Six Sigma projects and project teams
- Planning and executing projects
- Significantly increasing profitability through Six Sigma projects
- Selecting the right statistical tools
