Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Bridging Program

Objectives
  • A Black Belt training program design to develop Lean Six Sigma certified Green Belts or equivalents to become certified Black Belt. Identification of potential participants to be developed to become Black Belts through assessment during training, coaching/mentoring sessions and examinations.
  • Understanding and applying Lean Six Sigma tools effectively when leading process based improvement projects.
  • Development of customized curriculum to ensure that the Lean Six Sigma Body of Knowledge remains an integral part of the certification and qualification standard.
Highlight
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training provides individuals and teams with the principles, practices, and tools of Lean Six Sigma to maximize cost reductions and improve customer satisfaction in engineering service environments and business processes. The course is designed to provide 30% classroom lecture and 70% group and individual exercises to enhance and reinforce key learning's. This is a session of rigorous and applied training over a four months period. Successful completion of the Black Belt course requires attendance of all 20 days of DMAIC training and passing the final exam with a grade of 75% and higher.
Mode of delivery
  1. Training : BB Candidates will attend instructor-led training structured with Workshops, Demonstrations and Team Building Exercises (Optional) for maximum of 25 training days or 200 hours delivered by certified Master Black Belts.

  2. BB Mentoring : Periodic coaching & mentoring with Black Belts in training to validate project progress, effective application of the DMAIC methodologies and tools, and to achieve the targeted financial impact. Suggested minimum coaching/mentoring for each Black Belt project will be 4 days or 32 hours.

  3. DMAIC Analysis Tool. Lean Six Sigma Statistical Analysis Tool (3 options)
